By accessing or using ui.rip (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

ui.rip is a UI reverse engineering platform that captures live websites and converts them into production-ready React and Next.js code. The Service includes a web application, API, CLI tools, and a Chrome extension.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use generated code to redistribute, republish, or host copyrighted content without the copyright owner's permission.
• Use the Service to impersonate, misrepresent, or pass off another person's or organization's website as your own.
• Use the Service to capture content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.
• Use generated code for phishing, fraud, scams, or any other deceptive or illegal activity.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or credit systems.

3. Intellectual Property & Copyright

The content of captured websites belongs to its original creator, not to you or to us. Websites and their content — including text, images, logos, videos, source code, and design elements — are typically protected by copyright and trademark law.

By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of generated code complies with applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
• Capturing a website does not grant you any rights, license, or ownership over its content.
• The Service captures the rendered DOM — the same HTML and CSS any browser sees — and does not access server-side code, databases, or private APIs.
• You should respect the terms of service of any website you capture.

4. DMCA Compliance

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe that content hosted on or facilitated by our Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent:

Your notice must include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
• Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it.
• Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

5. Credits & Payments

• Capturing and inspecting websites is free. Credits are required for downloading generated code.
• Purchased credits never expire.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time. Changes do not affect previously purchased credits.

6. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The URLs you submit to the Service and any code you generate.
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
• Ensuring you have the right or permission to capture and use the content.
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Any consequences that arise from your use of the generated code.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Generated code will be complete, accurate, or production-ready without modification.
• The Service will be available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ui.rip and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ui.rip, its operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
